All oral presentations are scheduled for 10-12 minutes. Authors are kindly asked to prepare their presentations at Power Point 2003 or Adobe Acrobat 9 and bring them in a flash disk or a CD.
All transfers form hotels to conference venue, excursions’ places and taverns will be realized by buses The scientific program of the conference on Friday ends at 18:30. Since there is enough time until the welcome dinner, we recommend for you to take a walk around the city of Kavala, the harbor and downtown at the pedestrian streets with the lovely cafes shops. We strongly recommend for a walk around the old city of Kavala and the castle at the area of Panagia.
For that walks, you will be accompanied by relative persons At 21:00 on Friday, we shall departure from the hotels to the dinner. The welcome dinner will be on a lovely fish tavern by the sea, nevertheless there will be served meat for those who wish. At 17:00 on Saturday, we shall visit the ancient city of Philippi (15km from Kavala), where there will be a tour at the archeological place, the prison of Apostle Paul and Lydia’s Baptistery who was the first European who was baptized as a Christian. A tour guide will accompany us explaining the history of the place. At the end, there will be coffee treat.
We will continue our sight-seeing tour by visiting a traditional village of the area (10km away) named Vounochori (750m above sea level). We shall take walk around the village and we shall have dinner at a traditional meat tavern.
Notice, that during the night it will be cold (around 10 degrees Celsius), so take warm clothing with you
   At 10:00 on Sunday, we shall visit the Nestos Delta. We shall walk around the area which is protected by Ramsar Convention and it is one of the most important and beautiful environmental places of Greece. This walk can probably last for more than one hour, after which there will be offered cold sandwiches and juices. It is self evident that there will be needed comfortable shoes. At the afternoon, we shall return to Kavala and the conference will end.
